Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir Education Minister Altaf Bukhari on Saturday hit back at Army Chief General Bipin Rawat for indicating that understudies in the Kashmir Valley were being ”radicalized” in the schools.
Assaulting Rawat, Bukhari said the Army should focus without anyone else work and not intrude with the state’s training framework.
“The Army Chief is a regarded officer. I don’t think he is an educationist that he will give sermons on training. This being a subject on the state list, we know how to run our instruction framework,” Bukhari said.
“In the schools in Jammu and Kashmir, what instructors are instructing ought not be educated. In schools, there can be seen two maps, one of India another of Jammu and Kashmir. For what reason do we require a different guide for the state? What does it educate the youngsters?” General Rawat had said in the public interview held in New Delhi.
The pastor, be that as it may, guarded the nearness of two maps in the classroom.
“There are two banners in the state. We have Jammu and Kashmir constitution and India’s constitution also. Each school has a state outline it is expected to instruct about the state,” Bukhari included.
The priest communicated disappointment, saying that everybody was attempting to pass remarks on the state’s instruction segment and this was not adequate.
